I dont really understand how they work, i see a lot of people talk about using them here and I want to as well. I use the CMC City Booster right now and thats good for a few hits, but I want to start learning to use proxies. I went to Proxyz.us and it says to type in the website and the surf, so i put in my mini city url but it wont load the page, it says "This page needs javascript".
So will someone explain how to use proxies? or refer me somewhere that will teach me?

| There are some websites where you visit a page online through the webpage but that is slow and tedious.
The better way is to use the CMC City booster and fill in the proxies.txt file with good proxies.
http://www.my-proxy.com/list/proxy.php gives you a list of 3000 potential proxies for free. If you pay for more you can get bigger lists. Not all of them work but it will probably get you about 200 clicks. Also if you download the "Forum proxy leecher" software from that site you can use it to download lots of proxies from other forums.
Google for "proxy list" and you will find lots of sites that let you get a proxy list. The more sites you visit, the more proxies you can collect.

Socket exception Means that proxies are dead, you must look for fresh anonymous proxy...

connection timed out mostly comes if you have too many connections at once. despite a grand connection here I decided to cut it down to 10 and don't get any time outs at least.

That's right, I didn't see he asked for timeout too. To avoid connect timeout, you must decrease the number of thread but also incraese the HTTPConnectTimeout value (60 seconds for exemple). The maxthreadcount can be at 20 (at least, depends on your connexion).

Of course not, you can remove them from proxies.txt... but after 00h00, you must put them in proxies.txt of course

That depends on where the proxy is located, if we are in gmt+-2 and you have at least 50% of proxies that are located in gmt+-5, then you have to put them back when THEY're having 00h00 not when YOU have it.

I never think about it it's clever It can be right , bt to applicate this it's too delicate for me |

NO !
At the beginning of the game, we thought that Motion Twin would implement something like this, but not in fact.
What counts is the time Myminicity server.
At Midnight on the server Myminicity, everything is zeroed. All addresses of proxies can operate again.
Time proxy did nothing, except perhaps that a proxie at 3 or 4 o'clock local, will be probably more available than in day (between 8 and 23 o'clock for example).
